I’m a Clinical Herbalist and educator transforming individual health and contemporary culture through the power of plants. I have always been passionate about community healthcare and creating culture around wellness.

My passion for health began in New York City, while working to pass legislation to support women of color with HIV. During a synchronous meeting with master herbalist Julia Graves, I made a pilgrimage to France to study with her and Matthew Wood, where I received teachings in Traditional European Medicine and initiation into the world of herbalism.

Returning to California, I immersed myself in organic gardening through an apprenticeship at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, three years of study in clinical herbalism at the Berkeley Herbal Center, and pulse diagnosis and herbal formulation under the mentorship of Dr. William Morris.

I went on to serve as the Director of Operations at Berkeley Herbal Center, teaching clinical herbalism and overseeing student practice in the community clinic, while revitalizing the school’s structure and vision. I have since worked as the Director of Herbal Education at Verse, where I developed a three year clinical herbal curriculum and currently teach as core faculty and supervise student clinical practice.

In addition to my work in education and with clients, I have launched creative projects such as the Wellness Den at Spirit Weavers Gathering and my herbal and environmental insights have been published in Vogue, Edible East Bay, GOOD Magazine and Gestalten.

I am currently completing a Master’s of Clinical Psychology and somatics, focusing on the confluence of mental health, physical imbalance with body based inquiry. I’m based in Occidental, California, and have a private practice coaching clients in transformative strategies for lifelong wellness.
